CEDAR PARK, Texas was, incorporated in 1973 on the northwestern edge of the Austin MSA. It is the second fastest growing community in the state of Texas. From a population of 9,353 in 1990, Cedar Park has exploded on the popularity scale and has grown over 178 percent by developing into an urban center of over 30,000 residents.
